A type of Dyslogica where the student fails to apply a rule that they know to a case that it applies to, simply because they don’t know it applies to the case at hand. Could be thought of as not knowing the full set of cases to which a rule applies, or a student being too underconfident in their knowledge of the rule to apply to an unfamiliar case.
