Starting Point LC

A “Starting Point” Learning Challenge is a type of Learning Challenge that gives you an initial sense of where the student is in their understanding of a topic. It is similar to a doctor or nurse taking the “vitals” of a patient before getting into what the specific issue at hand might be.

The following 6 LC’s are types of Starting Point Learning Challenge:

Randomitis – Student answers questions at random with no pattern.

Anprioria -Lacking knowledge of prerequisite material needed to learn the topic at hand.

Anconcephaly – Student completely lacks a conceptual understanding of the topic at hand.

Hyperconfidencia – Student is overly confident in their understanding.

Hypoconfidencia – Student is not confident enough in themselves.

Dyspraxia – Student has an overal healthy understanding but makes “silly” mistakes.
