Dyslogica

Dyslogica is an umbrella term for making a logical fallacy (E.g. Converse is true). Common ones that students have include

OvergeneralizationApplying a rule or concept to cases beyond which it applies.

UndergeneralizationNot knowing that a rule you know applies to the case at hand.

Dystruia (Type 1)Believing a statement is true if you are somewhat familiar with the topic.

Dystruia (Type 2) – Believing a statement is true because it sounds nice or says something positive.

Dysfalsia (Type 1) – Believing a statement is false because you are unfamiliar with the topic.

Dysfalsia (Type 2) – Believing a statement is false because it sounds bad or says something negative.

Anchoring Effect – When responses are influenced by framing information.
